Project Reveal - Rolling Hills Ranch Master Bathroom

Hey everyone!

I am so excited to share with you an amazing bathroom remodel. Getting this bathroom to the finish line was a process, there were some major hurdles to get over, but in the end, I am so proud of the way my clients bathroom turned out. They are so happy with the design. It is theirs. It is one-of-a-kind.

Let’s take a look at some before pictures. The original bathroom layout worked, but the finishes and off centered lighting was not cutting it. Also, notice how the door swings into the bathroom against the shower glass, what were the builders thinking?! We had to make that change.

Here’s what we did - Demo’d EVERYTHING…nothing of the old bathroom spoke to our clients style or personality.

In their new bathroom design, our clients custom vanity with matching grain walnut door fronts is a showstopper, there is so much storage, something they were lacking before. We completed the vanity with a beautiful white quartz countertop. Adding sconces on either side of the beautiful gold and silver leaf mirrors gives the bathroom symmetry + balance. The bath surround got a major overhaul with a waterfall edge and a beautiful marble mosaic tile face. Did you see the amazing soaker tub! The herringbone floor adds texture and movement. The wall + floor tiles are a calacutta marble finish.

Check out the finished bathroom!

Giving Back...

WOW! It's been a while since I've blogged...sometimes life gets the best of you and when it does, our focus shifts, then before you know it January turns to June. But here we are trying to get back in balance...I'd like to share something that we were apart of earlier this year...

This Spring, we had the opportunity to work with an amazing non-profit organization here in San Diego, Savvy Giving by Design.  Their mission is to "provide comfort, support, and healing to families with a child facing a medical crisis by transforming the interior spaces of their homes at no cost to them."   Not only does SGBD create beautiful rooms for their main recipients, they also recognize the siblings. We got the opportunity to design Sarah's sisters room, JuJu. We feel so lucky to have been able to meet Sarah's family and be a part of Savvy Giving by Design. If you would like to support this wonderful organization click here.
